HARMONY OF PASSING LIGHT is here…reviews…& SXSW Tour ahead

Blood was spilled, light was conjured, jobs were lost, but it has finally arrived! Get it on itunes, Amazon, CD Baby. If you’ve already gotten a copy I’d like to thank you for listening and please pass the word around. In this day & age everything helps, and is much appreciated! Reviews are already starting to trickle in including a couple of excellent ones from Grant Britt over at No Depression & one from Aaron Kupferberg Powerpopaholic. Also one from Belgium via Key & Chords, and Baby Sue

Thank you also to the folks over at KFOG and Renee Richardson for the shout out! Also, Renee & I talked about the record here some time ago

In the middle of all of this, we decided that it would be a good idea last January to go into Mission Bells with David Simon Baker and perform the record “live” in a stripped down fashion, with a string trio, as well as trying some different arrangements. We’re calling it  “The Harmony Of Mission Bells Sessions”  and I was joined by Adam Rossi, Pie Fiorentino, Kyle Caprista, Erik Schramm, Deb Nikita, and Patty Espeseth. The first installment is a Bakersfieldesque countrified version of Spinner & The Spun filmed and edited by John Wuopio.

Finally March 15-17th are 3 showcases in Austin, Texas for SXSW. Two presented by Lounge Fly SF, over at Maria Maria and sponsored by Local Music Vibe on the 15th & 16th, and a big St Patty’s day blowout presented by KC Turner Presents & Killer Artists over at Austin Java. Check this for all show scheduling!

Thank ya all for listening!
