Excited to announce that I’ll be opening for Wesley Stace (aka John Wesley Harding) on Tuesday June 9th @ The Chapel. 7pm Doors: 8:00pm Show: Tickets on sale here!
He’s released numerous albums under the name John Wesley Harding and his latest record titled “Wesley Stace” came out in 2013 on Yeprock and was produced by long time friend Chris Von Sneidern. To top it off he’s written 4 novels and his latest “Wonderkid” just came out in Feb. I’ve seen him a couple of times over the years and his show never disappoints, is humorous, damn those songs are great! I’m opening and will be bringing new songs to light and explaining my own precarious state of mind.
We spent 2 lovely hardworking days in the studio with the band recording 4 new songs with Adam Rossi producing. Erik Schramm, Andrew Griffin, Pie Fiorentino, Joey Dibono, and Adam Rossi brought their cohesive magi to some new sounds for me, and we’re in the middle of doing overdubs and laying it on the train tracks. Song titles include “Why Do You Hurt”, “God Save The City”, “Do The Same”, and “Heartbreak Of Fools”
Lastly I was taken into the woods once again by the lovely Tracy Martin to work on the video for my song “Grand Manner” and we had a great time mucking it up out there. Also her partner in crime and all around photographer wizard Mark Kitaoka came along as well and had the novel idea of raining bubbles in the woods. We had blast on a beautiful day! Can’t wait for the video to come out.
